The Practice is committed to maintaining high standards of professional service to our clients resulting in buildings that are a pleasure to live and work in and function well.
Roger Gransmore Architect has relocated to a new studio in Oakridge Methodist Chapel which is an exciting self build project being undertaken by the Practice.
The new studio will have space on the existing first floor balcony with a meeting room and exhibition space on the ground floor. The chapel conversion will have timeless insertions stripped of all embellishment. The building will be flooded with natural light during the day through the insertion of new glazing within the roof. At night the interior will be lit with subtle multicoloured LED lighting. The building will be open plan with lightweight stairs and bridges around a transluscent central sculptural cone. The project will also incorporate energy saving devices including solar panels, photovoltaics and air source heat pump.
